Locmariaquer, one of the most important archaeological sites in Brittany (F). The great cracked menhir was 20 m high. The "Table des Marchand" (Merchant table, but indeed Marchand was the name of the family owning the land) shows a large bottom vertical slab engraved with "crosses". The top cover slab was taken from another cracked menhir. It shows some engraved figures, like a stone axe, a crosse and the front part of an ox.

The "Pierres Plates" dolmen shows interesting engraved motifs. It is possible to find something similar also in Valcamonica megalithic art (Copper age), like in the Ossimo boulder n. 4.
