Crunchy numbers

TRACCE Online Rock Art Bulletin had 35 815 views in 2012, from March 20 (TRACCE 3rd “refurbishment”) to December 31: an average of 117 papers read each day. In the same period, there were 21 new posts, growing the total archive to 318 posts. The busiest day of the year was October 6th with 507 views. The most popular post that day was Grotte Chauvet Archaeologically Dated.

Some visitors came searching, mostly for grotte chauvet, murujuga petroglyphs, cave paintings, arte rupestre, and chauvet.

Visitors, where did they come from? That’s 143 countries in all! Most visitors came from Italy. The United States & France were not far behind.
