Rock Art in the Alps - The Engraved Rocks of Carschenna


Carschenna: the Circle on the Rock. Concentric circles are the most represented in Carschenna engravings. They are superimposed by schematic horses of the first Iron Age.
They show from 1 to 9 circles.

Comparisons. We can find identical figures in some European "Atlantic" regions, like Galicia (Spain, left) and Scotland (right).
